Associating with your business and purpose

After working in Local Government for longer than I choose to remember I recently came to a cross roads. I still had a burning sense of needing a purpose and strong public service ethos - but equally a desire for new work adventures and experiences.

In February 2021 I left my role as a Chief Operating Officer and began my explorations into what are best described as executive interim and associate consultancy.

I recall all of the years when I was in permanent roles that I would be defined by what I did and not what my role title was - and now I am back to deliberating what I should describe myself as!
